OK, I've been collecting old keys for YEARS and I doubt I have that many! Did you find a locksmith that was going out of business?  Intriguing use for them tho - thanks for the inspiration! I get keys hit or miss on ebay. Sometimes they are pretty darn cheap, most times they are crazy expensive! Also people give them to me. I tried to get the old ones from my local hardware store but they sell them back to the manufacturer for $1 each. Too expensive for me!
