my2yorkiesBathtub Help! Tub too Small !!!
I was a complete "bath" person until we moved into this house! We have 2 full baths, one w/a shower & the other w/a bathtub (if u can call it that!) The house is a 50's house, so the small tub was "in" back than. The length is fine to sit in, & actually lay a little bit. It's the height. It measures only 14". U can hardly put any water, 'cause when u sit down, it overflows. Can a new tub be put in the tiny space? We have no room for a longer one, I just want to go up in height about 6". Is this possible?? expensive?? We looked in big box stores & they r all too long for our space

conradGo to a local plumbing supply house in your area. They have professional catalogs/sources for all manner of tubs (sizes/depths). It costs nothing to look and have them research, if there is something that would fit your space.
If that seems too costly, it may be possible to reconfigure your bathroom to allow a standard tub too. But then it becomes a remodel!
