Please--I need some advice. Our home was build in 1960 and we have a tiled bathroom, with mosaic tile floor. The floor is set in 2 inch concrete so removing it is really out of the question. We are on a crawl space--no basement. Anyway, the floor tile is horrible (color, not condition--it actually is in perfect condition)and I have kept it covered with carpeting since for over 25 years. But I am tired of replacing the carpeting frequestly and it just isn't NOW. I want something more "in". Another BIG problem is that our wall tile the 4x4" tiles are PINK AND THE bottom row (I guess where the baseboard would be) as well as a "bull nosed top edge about 3/4 up the wall) is also black. Top portion and ceiling is wallpapered--the paper is relatively new and is the most attractive part of the bathroom besides a cherry vanity with marble top and sinks. The bath is about 13x12. Any suggestions for a floor.

Are you just looking to change the floor? or all the tile? If you are trying to find something that will match the pink and black your options will be rather limited i think, especially depending on what kind of "pink" the tiles are.. is this a guest bath or a more private one? either way, with a floor you probably want to keep it simple so that it doesn't get dated and even if you change your decor or color scheme you can still keep your floors. If you are on a budget Costco has some real nice tiles for a great price. That's where I got mine and I am very pleased with them.
