I am replacing flooring in my bathroom. I have taken up the vinyl flooring and am left with the luan underflooring. I have been pricing flooring and can't really afford anything I like. I wouldn't be replacing the flooring, but I had to make repairs to broken floor joists and had to take up part of the vinyl trying to figure out what was wrong with the floor. Now I am wondering if I can just paint the floor and then seal it with polyurethene. It would fit my budget much better than anything else out there. Please help.
