Our new home had a black sink that functioned fine but looked worn out and dirty. We can't afford to replace it right now so I have refinished the top part with a white "Tough As Tile" epoxy paint. Although the white top and black bottom matches our clawfoot tub, we do not like the way the sink looks now. We are considering putting a black design around the sink edge but are not sure if this is a creative solution, or just plain tacky. Or should we simply refinish the entire sink white? Please view the pictures and we've love to know what you think!

I think it looks fine. I like the design location on the 2nd px. JMHO.

I think it's going to come down to a matter of taste. I'd prefer to see it all white, but metwo likes it the way it is. So go with what you prefer since you won't please everyone.

Great idea! I like the design #1..
Have you considered using the design in white on the pedestal of the sink, to tie the two together a bit so it doesn't look like you put a white basin on a black pedestal?
