Subway Back Splash with Honed Granite????? Sign In/Join
posted
Picture this - natural cherry cabinetry, with a dakota mahogany honed granite. Just took wallpaper down and want to paint a putty gray to carry into familyroom. Trim will be white white. Would a white subway tile be ok for backsplash or is it too high contrast?

My first instinct is to say yes, it is too much contrast. Pictures would be extremely helpful. You might also get better response if you post your question on the General Decorating board. There is a lot more activity there.
