Help! Can't decide on under cabinet lighting choices. Which is better, fluorescent, halogen or led.?

I would not use halogen because of the heat. Other than that it is personal preference. I like led but then there is the cost to consider.

Over the years of use, and low energy cost...I feel LED lights are still worthy.

LED by far. The installation is far simpler, the lighting more evenly distributed, less costly to operate, and cool to the touch!
