Were interested in installing bamboo flooring in a
high traffic ktichen where the entrance to the home
is. Since I live in Western New York, snow will be
introduced at the entrance way. I'm not sure what to use for that area yet,. But can anyone tell me anything negative about bamboo flooring. and why I shouldnt use it in the kitchen. I remember reading
something a while ago, but I can't remember.

My son just removed it from a bedroom... it was way to soft even for bedroom traffic!

It was only put in a year ago... it was relativly cheap. If you want good bamboo that is hard you have to really pay for it.

I would reconsider in your location.
