Onynx countertops

I have been reserching onynx countertops and am really considering putting one in my kitchen. The part of the kitchen that I want to use it will not be for food preperation. It will be used as a breakfast bar/coffee bar/ small appliance storage. I am putting in a about a 19 foot by 18 inch spot. I would really like to hear from anyone that has them or anyone that works with onynx, before I make such an expensive purchase.
