Dallas - 1950's O'Keefe and Merritt to refurbish

Does anyone know of a place to repair/refurbish a 1950's O'Keefe & Merritt range. We live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I loved the old range when we got it about 30 years ago. Our current house is electric in the kitchen but with our upcoming remodel we'll add the gas line. I'm disappointed with the quality of most newer ranges and the cost of the few I like is prohibitive. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the boards. Is there a local appliance dealer you could contact to find out what/who they know? I would also contact those outfits that sell refurbished stoves. They have to be getting them from someone!

Call any local store (not a big box) that sells appliance parts. They will most likely know who does the the kind of work you need. Rather than the broad terms repair/refurbish you will need to be a little clearer on just what you need to have done so they can point you in the best direction.

Try Macy's Classic Stoveworks in Houston.
