Hi- I might be buying a house with this kitchen...(2 attached pictures). The rest of the house is a beautiful tudor with lots & lots of character, but the kitchen is just terrible. I was just wondering if anyone has ideas of how I could update this kitchen for under $1,500 (keeping in mind the tudor style of the rest of the house) ? Any ideas would be appreciated!
At first glance, I think lighting may be an issue if it were mine? Perhaps some can lights in the ceiling (strategically placed) would open up that area. I would choose some cabinet pulls/knobs that I really love? And a matching oak shelf across above the window, with some cellular blinds (I like the top down, bottom up, ones myself), both for privacy and light control.
If you want some great kitchen remodel Ideas and use pinterest (which I recommend), Check out Kitchen Magics board. It's got tons of pictures of Kitchen Remodel Ideas. It's def nice to browse through. Here I'll post the link on the bottom for you.

Interesting that the only reponses other than conrad are both ads. Seems like there are getting to be a lot of ads on these boards... even after being reported they are not removed.

Yep. And often older threads are dredged up, if they can possibly link a site to them. I've heard that some people get paid if more hits to a site are tracked back to their post. Best plan is never to click on their links.
Perhaps marking brand new posters with a certain color background could help identify them as possible advertising links. After a new poster had posted and responded (proved themselves) a certain number of times the background color id would go away? It won't happen, but just an idea to throw out there.
I don't think that anyone has posted there for advertisment purpose since the question was regarding kitchen remodeling and we have given just a way to get best remodeling team

I agree with your opinion .... good luckThis message has been edited. Last edited by: diypex,
I like that you have a set a budget, before you have moved in. Your kitchen top appliances will add some personality. Consider colorful rugs/mats for the flooring, same for window covering. Once you get all kitchenware unpacked, live with what you have for at least a month. Your budget sounds perfect for the space. Good luck.
