I have that for my desktop but it is making nicks and cuts in my office swivel chair. What can I put along the edge of the countertop that would stop that and still look decent? My countertop is brownish.
Without a piture of your desk it is hard to give advice. Are you talking that the desk is making nicks in the arms of your office chair? Is there a corner on your desk? Could you use the clear plastic wall corner guards? Just cut them to the length and glue them on your desk. Or maybe there is something that you can put on your office chair to protect it? Not getting what you mean exactly. Maybe some sort of thing to keep your chair from hitting your desk? Not sure.
I think the OP's problem is the edge of the countertop is damaging the arms to their desk chair. If you can adjust the arms down a little bit, take them a bit lower so they don't bang into the counters or possibly lower the entire chair. As to what you could put on the edge of the counter I'm not sure what would look good and accomplish what you're looking to do.

Nowadays, remodeling and redesigning our houses are just as easy but the tough one is when we are having an issue sometimes that we encounter that it's not in our line and we have tons of questions. Countertops today are so indemand in many different areas in houses. By the way, I hope you did attach some pictures to be more nicer. I did also encountered same issue with you, and I asked Cumar for that, since they are one of the most experts in that area.
