Remodeling Shows Sign In/Join

I wonder why (other than it looks pretty cool and must feel great for a minute) almost all the remodels of kitchen and baths involve destroying the current tile, fixtures, etc. Has no one on this network heard of recycling?
I would love to see a change in culture on this issue - what about donating the old materials to ReStore, thus benefitting others in the community?
Hope it will be considered.....
