Delta tub trim pkg replacement -- how to find series number?
As I was caulking the tub I notice that the faucet and trim plate on the handle were rusting and need to be replaced. How do I find the series number for replacing these items -- or do I even need a series -- are they interchangeable?
I can see without taking anything apart the words Delta and Monitor. That's it. I used a mirror to scan the underside and nothing is there. Ebay has a series 600 that most resembles what I have but not exactly. I've been here 11 years so the faucet, etc. are probably at least 15 years old.
This should be a DIY job -- rather not pay a pro. Your input would be appreciated. Thanks. This message has been edited. Last edited by: MyLifeVacation1,

I'm really disappointed I did not receive any suggestions. Really needed some advice. Guess I'll go pepper the staff at HD and Lowes with some questions. Maybe go up to the local Ace first. Thanks anyway.

Please be patient with us here. We are unpaid volunteers and sometimes we just don't have an answer.
I would go to the Delta website and see what they have to offer. Monitor may be the name you are looking for.
A picture might have helped. And Google is probably a more powerful tool than ebay.

Any advice given here is general in nature and is not necessarily valid for your given area. If in doubt check with your local codes enforcement department for what is required when doing electrical, plumbing or structural work on your house. Permits may or may not be required in your area and home owners may not be able to DIY some tasks. I have no way of knowing if you have the skills needed to complete the tasks you are asking about, when in doubt seek professional assistance.
My advice may be worth exactly what you pay me for it. :-) For the record I did not stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

That explains why I haven't been getting my check from HGTV for answering questions here.
