Does anyone have a picture of how it would look to have tile and wood flooring together.

What do you mean by together? Like an inlay or from 1 room to the next?

No, it would not look odd. Cannot provide you a picture but have seen it. It is no different than having carpet/wood or wood/ vinyl or any number of combinations.
