I am trying to remove the fan blades from my whole house attic fan. This fan is installed inside my house. We are trying to get access to above our ceiling. We are not sure if the fan can swivel or if we need to remove the blades. Getting these blades off will help us sell our home! The fan is probably 20 years old!! Any suggestions?? Are you trying remove the entire fan unit? Without seeing the unit I can't say how you would go about removing the blades or the whole unit, but generally speaking if you study the unit for a few minutes you should be able to figure out how it is attached to the house. Remember to turn off the power before doing anything on this unit.
