New show for HGTV Sign In/Join

Can HGTV produce a show with us who live in apartments. As you can't do much with the blah white walls or the brown/tan carpets that are in most apartments. You can't paint over the white walls nor can you take up the carpet and replace it with new carpet or hardwood floors We need some inspriation and I think a show that can transform an apartment into a fab livable space would be a great show!!

As said before (recently) the HGTV producers do not read these forums. You need to contact HGTV directly.

Try watching Income Property. They do major apartment make overs. Do you own this apartment or rent? Major apartment make-overs are only possible if you're the owner unless the owner agrees.

General Disclaimer

Any advice given here is general in nature and is not necessarily valid for your given area. If in doubt check with your local codes enforcement department for what is required when doing electrical, plumbing or structural work on your house. Permits may or may not be required in your area and home owners may not be able to DIY some tasks. I have no way of knowing if you have the skills needed to complete the tasks you are asking about, when in doubt seek professional assistance.

My advice may be worth exactly what you pay me for it. :-) For the record I did not stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Is "For Rent" still on? That show was/is about selecting a rented space and decorating it. If it's still on then it would seem to be what you are asking for. If it isn't then it was probably cut because there isn't enough interest in the topic.
