we had hardie cement siding put on the house it was primed someone told us to use a cement stain on it we did after the first winter it started peeling, then we found out we needed to paint it instead. Do we have to put kills over the stain or can we just paint it?
thanks
Janet

You might have to contact Hardie about this. Normally I would say that if the stain you applied is peeling, it will continue to peel even with paint over it, and that would be a mess!

Pardon the comment, but punctuation makes reading a bit easier.
