I have champagne taste on a beer budget, as my husband says...LOL. I know in my mind what I want my floor to look like, rich cherry strip floors, but due to dogs, kids, and budget I am going with laminate.....I found swiftlock 20 year NO padding laminate that is only 7 mm..LOVE the look but is this just to low of a quality/bad product to go with? We found the 9mm with underpayment attached at SAMS, which seems like a much better product for a lot less, but I do NOT like the look of any of them....I LOVE the look of the swiftlock, but am I just throwing my money way on this one? Any advise is MUCH welcomed.

I question the wisdom of buying laminate from a big box store. Go to www.ifloor.com and see what they say. They may also have a product that appeals to you and their prices are generally very good.
