I guess that would depend on your skill level and the project at hand. If it is something that you have no knowledge about or don't feel comfortable I would suggest a pro. If it is something that you have done in the past then go for it. With the web there is a wealth of knowledge available and with the various forums & sites there is always someone to help you through the rough spots.
I have been lucky that throughout life I have learned several different trades. Some by watching and others by participation. But like everything else you have to know your limitations. |
