I am a disabled vet and I just moved in with my wifes friend we are renting the basement. Her friend has said we can do what ever we want to the basement and what ever we spend comes off are rent. The hard part is I'm unemployed and I really want to finish the basement so we can live down there comfortably. There are all kinds of problems with electrical and other stuff in the home. I really wish I could get on one of the shows that come and help us make the place great. We have a large area to work with outside. I really want to know if there is any thing out there that can help us. Please reply if you have any ideas we need the help. Thank you.

But I think to get on a particular show you need to contact the shows production company. HGTV doesn't create most of their content. Your location is key, if you're not in an area where the production company works you're out of luck. I think you have a better shot at winning Powerball. Good luck.

You should have started a new thread with the question. One companies take on the difference between renovation and remodeling. To me decorating is generally not structural, so paint, paper, carpet or other flooring, furniture, window treatments and accessories.
