what if any tile/grout sealer would anyone suggest or warn against. I purchased some and wish I hadn't. It's for the bathroom floor and tub enclosure.

I have done a fair amount of tile work. I wouldn't use any sealer but AquaMix Gold; you should be able to get it any place that sells tile. It is an acrylic and is advertised to be a 15 years sealer. It is not cheap, but it goes a long way. Do read the directions! I never did a tile job without sealing the grout.
There may now be some professional sealers that are equal or better but you may also have difficulty getting them.
Don't use the old silicone sealers; they don't last and they don't work.
You generally seal the grout only, unless you are working with tumbled travertine (marble); in that case you would seal the whole surface.
Read the tile topic on my website at www.bobf.info
