We currently have carpeting in the vanity area and tile in the bathroom area. The carpetting is sticky from hairpray and the tile in the potty area has yucky grout. I was thinking vinyl. Any other flooring ideas I could try? Your help is appreciated.

A top quality vinyl flooring is probably the easiest to care for, and because it is seamless, a good choice for wet areas like the bathroom. I suggest visiting a regular flooring store (not a flooring dept) as they have top brands in commercial grade vinyl. This stuff often does not have a grid/tile pattern if you like to have a clean looking floor, just an overall texture pattern that hides shed hair, powder spills and such. It usually comes with a lifetime wear guarantee too.

Ceramic Tile, similar to the bathroom, so it all ties in.

A little mosaic header between unmatching tiles, ties it all together, if you cannot exactly match the existing tiles.

I would like to suggest you that you should ceramic tiles for your bathroom flooring which gives a new look to your bathroom floor and cleaning of these tiles is also easy.
