Lillymaechair pad on floor
I have laminate flooring in my office. Should I be having a pad under the chair that is on casters?

conradMy experience with laminate is that it's really tough, so I wouldn't. We have inexpensive laminate on our 3 season porch and a rolling chair that I work from, no issues at all.
Just keep any grit/gravel swept up, should it come in on shoes. Most of the clear office pads are for over carpet, and have sharp points to grip, not good. If your chair rolled too easily for you if the floor was slick, then a large low nap carpet mat could help that issue.

SparkyAt the Pergo website they recommend soft wheels for laminate floors. If you have a different brand you might want to check their site. I suspect they'll all have similar recommendations.

Bob FlemingNot a problem in my experience. I have cheap Costco laminate in my study and a rolling chair that I am sitting on. I see no wear. As noted above most of those chair pads are made for carpet and would not work well on a smooth hard surface.
