Painting a Brick Fireplace Sign In/Join
posted
I recently watched an episode of Property Brothers where they painted a brick fireplace white then used a tool to scrape the bricks - giving them a distressed look. Does anyone have more information on how this is done, including what type of paint to use, what tool I need, and how to get that distressed look?

Thank you!
Jennifer

I didn't actually see the episode so I can't tell you how it was done. But there are ways to get the distressed look using stains. There is a website call Brick Transformers that has several examples of this.
