Can you mix painted woodwork and stained wordwork in the same room? eg, the baseboards and crown molding painted and the window and moldings on doors stained?

I would not do it in my room as I think it chops up the room.Your eye doesn't rest.It's your room so I think you can do what you like as you have to live there not anyone else.

I have mixed molding and it works just fine.
