I have my base coat on my natural wood picture frame. I used an antique white. Can I use Minwax dark stain for aging it? Just wipe on then wipe off? I don't really like the effect I am getting when I mix clear glaze and raw umber acrylic paint. It's not bad, but it looks too "fauxish".
