Our house had red brick on it...but it looked more like orange. After much consideration, we painted it....but I also played with a technique I heard about where you use different shades of paint to give the look of brick.

I have before and after photos on my blog. I'm very happy with how it turned out.

The new faux painted bricks look fantastic.
