I have the same light in all my bathrooms. It is a white glass panel about 8 x 8 covering the bulb and then a metal piece the same size for the housing of the fixture. On the smaller fixtures there are 3 metal pieced with the white inbetween (every other is white) On the bigger fixtures there it is twice that size. Right now it is painted a brushed on silver over a grey (very little grey showing) with some gold just lightly brushed on in spots for accent What I would like to do is to paint them gold with maybe a siler accent..or some kind of faux finish. The white glass comes out but the metal is attached to the fixture..at least I think...I will go check...anyway I have an idea to paint the background a plain gold and then using a stencil to all some gold leafing or add some spackle or drywall mud to make the artwork 3-D before painting the raised part a shiney gold of sorts. I have thought about decoupageing some fancy paper on it but I'm not sure I want it that permanant...when I was a kid my mom used egg whites to fasten stuff to the wall and to glass anyone ever do that. This message has been edited.
