Newbie here...I'm considering painting this desk but don't know what to do about the brass. Should I leave it the way it is? I don't know what my options are.

I'd appreciate any ideas.

Was a little confused by your question. If you bought this piece, I'm assuming you liked the brass accents. Yes?

What do you know about its background? Does it have any significant value? (If so, you might not want to alter it.)

What's your/your home's style and how do you plan to use it?

If you provide more background and detail, you might receive at least a few responses.
