I have an old red brick fireplace and want it to look better. Has anyone tried the Brick-Anew and if so does it really work? Is there an alternative to Brick Anew?

Try and search these forums for more info on Brick-anew. I personally would not go to that expense. Check out this post that was recently added to the Decorating MB: http://boards.hgtv.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/1634079532/m/9541009753. I am working on one too - very similar to this. Post pics on the decorating MB when you complete your project! Good Luck!

Some of the items on Brick-ANew can get a little pricey, but I think that their product quality makes up for it. I wrote a testimonial for their site and they even refunded my shipping! I have purchased awood fireplace mantle and a set of natural gas fireplace logs from them in the last six months and both have been fantastic. Hope this helps.
