Confused I really need some help with my post from yesterday, I am in a dead-lock on a color scheme, the light gray carpet is down in the den and the room is empty except my black piano, I have shopped and been on computer looking for sofa and loveseat, and have seen many very pretty ones, but wrong color, it is strange how you know when it is the wrong color, but you don't know the right color lol I just hate to buy sofa's and they don't look good with the gray carpet, so the room is empty until I can come up with a color, I just don't want black but had thought about white, some of you ladies are smarter than I am on this subject, if you have gray carpet would you be so kind as to tell me what color or colors you have used with it.I am in a mess, I wish I had never seen that gray carpet !!!lol HELP Thanks, sweetashoney

Almost any shade of red will look good with grey and black. From fire engine red leather - soft shades of burgundy or rose. Depends on how formal, contemporary or comfy you want the area to look.

Also... gray comes in a variety of colorations. Some grays are blue grey... green grey... or brown gray. So this will make a huge difference in your choices.

Razz Thank you Painter Lady, I like the idea of the Burgandy...and the more I look at the carpet, it looks kind of shimmery like blue ice. Thanks again
