Does anyone have experience using BM paint in
lt or creamy yellows? If so, I would like to hear your opinion. I have looked at samples for weeks & still can't decide. I want what I can only describe as a soft relaxing color, no lemon, but I want to be able to tell it is yellow. I know that probably makes no sense. There is no BM store in my area that sells their Natura no VOC paint soI need to be sure (as possible) before I buy. Thanks.

I painted my basement/home office using Benjamin Moore's Aura color in "Handmade" - it's a soft muted golden-yellow. I have a mult-colored floral area rug (burgandy, greens, yellows, purples, rusts) and dark brown furniture in my home office area, I think the paint color is perfect!

Can you order a sample from the BM website, glp? They were $7, IIRC - don't know about shipping, however.

You did mention looking at "samples". Did you mean paint chips?

Good Luck!

glp- whenever I am picking a color, regardless of the brand, I take the color strip or brand and name of the paint to Sherwin Williams. They will color match and create a quart of paint for you for about $5. It's enough paint to splotch on the walls in different areas and give me a good idea whether I like it or not. Good luck!

We used a BM paint in the living room that was a honey gold. Not sure of the exact name tho that might be it. Came out a nice warm relaxing yellow to my eye.
