I would like to jazz up a plain white schoolhouse glass light globe that is on a ceiling fan. I thought a tortoise look or a Venetian marble look would be nice. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? Thank you!
Although I have not tried painting any part of a glass light fixture, I think your best shot at success would be to use paint designed for glass. I have used "pebeo" paint from Michaels on wine glasses with great success. After painting, you let the item dry for 24 hours and then bake it 300 or 325 degrees for 35 minutes to heat set. Good Luck!
