I've done crackling before..but only on like smaller flat pieces. Now I want to crackle a provincial(cream&gold) type bed....I've learned that you have to use a steady, continuously brush stroke, isn't that right? I tested the crackle on a hidden spot & it really shows bad when you stop & start up again......Lordy! did anything of that make sense?? Any help for me? dw

I don't have any experience with it, but can you roll it on?

Crackle has a mind of its own. And each brand is different in quality and the way it works. Practice with whatever brand you have. A small whizz roller works well too. This way you can roll it out quickly and randomly. (if that's the crackle you want.) Otherwise the crackle will follow the brush stroke you. For the best consistent results, spray the crackle medium onto your item/surface.
