I just bought a very nice picnic table at a yard sale for 10 dollars. It had some chipping paint but I figured I would just scrape off what was peeling and sand, prime and re paint. Upon closer inspection I see that is is pressure treated wood. Now I want to get all of the paint off and leave the wood natural. There are several layers of paint and the grain of the wood has raised so the paint sits in the grooves and can't be easily removed. Any one have any suggestions on how to get all the paint off? I used stripper, a hand sander and a putty knife...is there n easier way?
