I am getting this bed cover...

My walls are painted gray. I want to have Green accents around my room, I was thinking of painting a green stripe on one wall... up high.. similar to these two pictures.

Thoughts? DH thinks it will look like a kids room...

We all on these forums think we have a "design eye" LOL.

You will get more responses if you post your question on General decorating. And more still if you post a picture of the bedroom

I think this forum is for faux finishing and painting, not regular wall painting.

Guess what! I completely agree with your DH.
Before I even read your post I went over to see that stripe and that was exactly my thought too -- that it looked like a room for a teenager.
Sometimes keeping it simple is the best way to go.
Nix the stripe.

I like the stripe and do not think it is childish at all. But I do not know about green with the blue. Can you find something both of you agree on?

In your bedding pic, the accent color is yellow, which is compatible with blue. How about a yellow stripe?
