I love it. I have only one carpeted room. The vacuum goes from hardwood to carpet with a flick of a switch. My friend has one also. She loves it as well.

The subject of vacuums comes up often. Smile You can see those discussions if you do a search under FIND tab at the top of this message board.

To get you started, here's a link to one vacuum thread: "Opinion on vacuums" <~click on title to go to that thread

Personally, I have a Dyson "Animal" model and I recommend it. I have a combination of hard flooring and carpeting, two pets (so I vac a lot!) and it does beautifully on both--the types of flooring--not the pets! Big Grin . It's not cheap, but considering the other cheaper ones didn't last very long, this one is turning out to be cheaper.

Hope this helps! Smile

Had this discussion with my sister when my kirby needed fixing. She has the shark navigator and loves it. Seems to have the same features as a dyson minus the ball. I ended up fixing my kirby (which resulted in IT getting a deep cleaning too.)
