Oops, I was thinking my title would be on my posting. Does anyone know a sure-fire way to remove aluminum stains off of dishes?

No and I don't know how your dishes got aluminum stains.
I did manage to remove iron stains from our dishes with Barkeeper's Friend applied and rubbed on with a Magic Eraser. It might work for you; might not.

you may want to try over on the cooking board. Are you refering to the siver marks that some dishes get from silverware?

The marks, I thought were from aluminum baking pans rubbing against dishes in the dishwasher. Perhaps they are from silverware. I'm open for hints for either. I'll head over to the cooking forum and ask, too. Thanks for your input!

I called Corelle company and they reccomended Bar Keepers Friend. This is a problem with Corelle products. Silverware stains. You can clean them but they keep coming back.
