How should I clean a very dirty wool hook pillow with a velvet back? Dry clean?

I would!
I dry clean just my old cotton throw pillows that have lots of long fringe on them...it does wonders for them and keeps the cotton from falling apart...they are OLD! I don't think they were hand made, but could have been...look like crochet with something bigger than kite string.
