What kind of cleaner is used for cleaning out a jet tub that will remove all dirt and scum, etc. We have tried Dawn liquid soap, bleach, and nothing is working to remove issue.

Are you inquiring about the jets or just the walls, is the tub fiberglass?

If you are asking about the jets, my tub came with instructions to do this once a month: Fill tub over the jets, add bleach and run the jets. Then empty and refill over the jets, add dishwashing powder and run the jets again. If you mean the fiberglass walls, I find them much harder to keep clean than my old porcelain tub ever was. One of the problems is that the tub is so deep that it is hard to bend over and get to the bottom and so wide that it is impossible to get to the bottom of the far side without using a mop or a long-handleed brush. And I am never convinced that either implement does as good a job as doing it "by hand"!!!

My jetted tub care instructions said not to use bleach. Just the dishwasher detergent.

To clean the inside...I get in it. So much better than stretched over the side of the tub hanging upside down in it...

I fill my tub to cover the jets, add about 3 cups of bleach and run the jets for 10 - 20 minutes. If you do that once a month, they stay clean.
