Storage of bed pillows
At our FL home we can sleep an additional 4 people besides our Guest room and I need to figure a way to store these 4 extra pillows when not in use. Right now they take up so much of my guest room closet storage space. Any suggestions on more compact storage solutions? Many thanks.

Do you have room for a wicker or canvas trunk somewhere? Can you put two of the extra pillows in your closet? Do you have one of those vacuum seal things for big items?

I have put an extra high shelf in the closets (above the first one). Hard to get to for everyday items, but ideal for those seasonal or seldom used pillows, linens and such. The vacuum storage bags mentioned above are helpful too.

I've also put them into pillow shams and use on the bed. I mean, not to sleep on, just to keep in the shams. That uses up 2 of them; maybe 3.

I hate taking decorative pillows off the bed at night but if it solves a storage problem I'll do it.

I have stored some in large plastic bags sealed with duct tape under the guest room bed. But I also have a floored attic so I can put lots of things up there...I have several LARGE closed plastic storage units I put up there just for extra blankets, pillows & such.

Once again you've given good suggestions. When we get back in Oct. I will try to add a high shelf in guest BR closet. Or can try the storage bags and then suck air out of it. thanks again.

another way to hide them is in the open...roll the pillow like a sausage and cover with a piece of fabris tying the ends...use as bolsters...

To reduce the amount of space extra bedding including pillows require, I store them in special plastic bags - attach a vaccuum cleaner hose to remove the air. Works great for sleeping bags too

I don't store extra pillows.

Since we rarely have overnight guests, and since pillows are so inexoensive, I'd go to Walmart or Target and purchase a couple - if I needed extra ones.
