What do you use under your sink to keep the cabinet area clean? Do you have anything under there to keep diswasher soap from spilling?
What do you lay on your cabinet shelving to keep them clean? I don't want to use adhesive papers.

I have never had a spill of cleaners under the sink. I have a handled tote that I store my cleaners in so everything stays upright and I can grab it and go to another room or put it on the counter when in the kitchen. My dishwasher soap is gel and it sits by itself in the cabinet. I don't line this cabinet because in a property I rented, the previous renters spilled and didn't clean up. It was a putrid mess under the shelf liner. So it is bare under my sink which motivates me to wipe it regularly. I just pop out the cleaner tote, the DW soap and my recycle bin and wipe away.

I got a heavy liner that doesn't have adhesive on it. I got it 9 years ago when we moved into our current home at either Bed, Bath and Beyond or Target. We also use in some of the upper cabinets.

I keep a lot of stuff under my cabinet, dishwasher soap, cleanser, recycling and trash. In addition, I store cheap flower vases behind all that stuff. I put down paper grocery store bags underneath all of it and when they get soiled, I just put new paper grocery store bags. They are double thick laying down and the paper is verrry thick.

I use some leftover wallpaper, not glued down. Keep everything in baskets because it keeps it neater and is easier to remove if needed.

And right in front of everything on the right-hand side I keep a small fire extinguisher. It keeps "creeping" toward the back but I keep moving it back toward the front.

Under my kitchen sink: trash bin, a roll of plastic bags for the trash bin, a bottle of dish liquid and a box of dishwasher powder. That's it. Nothing else. No mess, no fuss to keep clean.

Under my bathroom sink: trash bin, roll of plastic bags for the trash bin, and a small laundry bin. The less there is under the sink the easier it is to keep that area clean.

I found, years ago, that the area under the sinks tended to collect things that I never used. I would end up feeling like I didn't even know what was under there. I finally dumped everything in the garbage and started over. Now I only keep a few specific items in those cupboards and I am much happier. Much, much happier.

I keep my dishwasher soap and the stove cleaner under there with a few vases, also have some of the grocery store bags and a small drainer for when I wash things. I don't use any shelf liner.

I have some small apliances under there. I store my dish soap in the basement as I buy it in the HUGE bulk container and just fill the little one.

I was lucky to get a big blue tote from work (I work in plastics) and I have everything sitting in the tote. it kindof works like a dwar cuz i can just grab it and pull it out.

I alos have a tote for the breakfast foods. Verry handy.

I used a piece of plastic that was a section from a hanging ceiling to line the cupboard under my sink. I have a pull out bin that I keep foil/plastic wrap/waxed paper etc in (don't have kitchen drawers) I also keep the DW det. there and a small basin. Since I have a double sink, on the other side I keep the liquor which we seldom drink. I'm not good about cleaning down there, thanks for the reminder!

I have my trash can, plastic bags for trash, dishwasher soap and powder. Also my watering cans for the house plants and the scrubbies for the pots and pans.

The bottom is lined with a piece of linoleum we had left over when it was put down in the kitchen 24 years ago and it still cleans up pretty well. I tacked it down with some small wood tacks. I also use an old rubbermaid dish drainer mat that I no longer use to hold the cleaning supplies.

I also keep my dishwashing powder in a plastic container (an old tupperware that was sold to hold dry cereal). I once had a leak under the sink and learned never to leave it in the box, since I had to throw it all away.
