My kids bathroom is next on my 'hit list' thus, all my questions recently.
The linen closet has wood shelves in it, spaced about 18-20 inches apart. I think there is ample space in it, however, it is also a crazy mess with all of the 'stuff' setting individually on the shelves. How would you organize it to make it look nice for potential buyers. Do you think people actually open the linen closets?

This is how it is right now -
Below the first shelf (on the floor) sets the extra toilet paper and gift bags.
1st shelf - bath towels and wash clothes
2nd & 3rd shelf - Misc toiletries, medications, lotions, some junk, etc. . .
Top shelf - beach towels

oh yes! they open doors, drawers, and closets! the neater or organized the items, the nicer they "show"...sounds as if you have a good start...

Just a tip on sheet sets, although this isn't on your list, I fold the fitted and flat sheets and put them inside one of the pillow cases (I fold and put the extra matching pillow cases in too). Then you fold over the end and put it away. It works great!

Get a couple of those home organizers with steps(made for pantries, baths, etc) and put all the misc stuff on those. You can see all the items on the steps and they don't allow the lotions, pills, hair products, etc. to take over your closet

To give myself more storage room in the linen closet, I've been storing off season sheet sets in between the mattress and box springs of the bed they belong to. I never have to search when I want to change out sheets for the next season. Only problem is DS's loft bed. His sheets go under my queen size mattress.
