docinthehousewater in front load washer
Is there any front load washer that does not hold water in that rubber seal at the opening? I wipe it down often and always leave the door open, but really, does any front load spin all that out so you don't have standing water all the time?

MayThe two front loaders I have had, had a small amount of water under the rubber seal. Mostly just dampish.....always wipe it out and leave the door open. Never had "standing water" though.

docinthehouseOh, no, I always have a puddle that I have to sop up with a paper towel or a rag.

KeepYouInStitchesMy Maytag Neptune has standing water. I keep an old washcloth on top of the washer and blot it out. Also leave the door ajar.
I personally will NEVER own another front loader. Any time you put a folded dinner napkin or handkerchief in the washer and it comes out STILL FOLDED!! that canNOT be clean. Even though I don't look forward to spending the money, I'm glad that these new appliances don't have the longevity of the old applicances.

conradOur two LG washers have no water issue. Just damp, and I leave the door ajar overnight and that dries.
