I didn't know where to include this question, but I have a sectional sofa with wood feet and the sectional slides apart on the wood floor when someone sits on it. The feet aren't the size as the standard non slip disks I can find in the hardware store - any thoughts out there?

I have used rubber cups - the old brick red colored ones my grandmother used long ago. Or, look for something like the felt pads but are made of rubber or some other non-slip item.

I have been using the thick felt pads that you cut to size. I have tile floor and it works except for when the kids throw themselves into the sectional. When I sit on anyone else it doesn't move.

Is there any way to maybe use velcro straps & weave them into the under frame of the couch? This will keep the sectional in one piece too.

We used zip-ties to keep the sections together, you can find them in the automotive or hardware section of Wal-Mart.

My sectional came with metal gizzmos on the sides of the pieces to be attached together; they lock into each other,I wonder if you could find something similar at a hardware store.

Had a similar problem with our diningroom table skidding across the hardwood floor. My solution was to use some of that "rubbery" cupboard/drawer liner. Works wonderful

Use Industrial strength hook and loop tape on each side of the sectional. I've use this on wood to tile and fabric to fabric and it hold great. good luck

Long Zip ties work the best.
