Dog threw up on carpet and it stained it. I've used clear water, Tide with water. I can't get the stain completely out. Anyone have any ideas? We're putting our house on the market in 2wks. and don't want the stain in there. TIA

I use Spot Shot for carpet stains- seems to do the job for us.

Spot Shot would be my first recommendation too.

REALLY HOT water in an extraction carpet cleaner is also a good bet, if the Spot Shot does not get it all out. (Rug Doctor, or borrow someone's Hoover or Bissel carpet cleaner)

Thanks. Neighbor gave me some of her Oxy and it took it out. I used it in HOT water.
