Have you ever had your funiture sitting in the same space for awhile, and when you wanted to rearrange it, was left with the dents in the carpet? Place an ice cube in the dent, and let it melt. The fibers swell and when it dries, no more dent!

LOL....I thought the thread was going to ask how to get rid of them, and I would have suggested the ice cube trick...

It works all all types of carpets. I have used it on berber, and I have even used it in my office. Looks like CallMeMartha already knew one of my favorite tricks! You guys are great.

I tried that once and it didn't work for me!

I'll have to try the ice cube trick. I have used a steam iron before, by placing a damp cloth on the carpet and lightly pressing with the iron. Kind of a pain to get it out when I could just do something "cool" like throwing down an ice cube....LOL
I'll give this a try tonight!!1 TFS the idea. |
