not mopping floor till SPRING!! Sign In/Join
posted
Have all tile floors on ground level. Have had more SNOW winter than I would like. When I still had a dog, switched to a cheaper way to get a GRIP on icy surfaces... CHEAPEST clay cat litter I could find. Better for pets and lawns whenever we thaw out. Whether salt or cat litter, still makes a bit of a mess. I have ecoded to NOT mop floors in hallway or kitchen until spring!! Will continur to sweep up but can totally ignore schmutz on tile floor until spring!!

Chairlady,

LOL, Happy to join you. No mopping until Spring. But I'll have to dance with the broom once in a while.

I'm with you, too. Kitty litter has always saved me, the heck with the mess, it'll clean up eventually!

I still mop -- but only once a day! And I could do it every hour, I think! LOL! But at least I know it IS clean once a day! LOL!
