I cant get my mom to scrapbook. She needs a hobby. She said she would love to try but she never wants to go and get stuff to do it. I learned to do it from my friend. Does anyone any tricks to get my mom excited about crafting. Or can anyone tell me how your mom or you got started scrapbooking?

Have you tried asking your Mom to help you with a project? If you gather all the supplies and pictures and work on it together, maybe she'll discover that she likes doing it. Perhaps you could start with a family heritage album-that way she could share stories of her family and childhood with you.

Some crafts store s that sell scrapbook supplies have classes also on new techniques,maybe she would do a class with oyu,,that might spark some interest for her.

Have you tried cardmaking with her? My mom HATES scrapbooking but loves cardmaking. I'm not sure if it's the smaller size she likes, or just that she doesn't like scrapbooking itself.
